The V-Kit is designed for safe and flexible book digitisation, especially when working with fragile, rare or tightly bound materials. It allows books to be scanned without forcing them into a fully flat 180° position, helping reduce stress on the spine and binding.
The V-Kit can be adjusted in four positions between 180° and 140°, giving operators greater control when handling different book types and conditions. When used with PerfectBook, it supports simultaneous scanning of the left and right pages with the same camera, even when the book cannot be completely opened.
This makes the V-Kit a practical accessory for libraries, archives, museums, universities and cultural heritage organisations that need to digitise valuable books with care. It is suitable for selected Zeutschel scanner models, including zeta Comfort, OS 15000 Advanced Plus and OS C2 Advanced.
